Social work on 10/04/2026

On the 10th of April 2026, Government Khawzawl College observed Social Work Day with great enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility among students and staff. The main objective of the day was to promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, and teamwork by engaging everyone in cleaning activities across the college campus.

The program began in the morning with a short gathering where teachers highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. They emphasized that cleanliness is not only essential for physical health but also creates a positive atmosphere for learning and personal growth.

After the briefing, students were divided into groups and assigned different areas of the campus. Some groups focused on cleaning the surrounding areas of the college, removing litter, clearing bushes, and ensuring that the campus looked neat and welcoming. Another group took responsibility for cleaning the library, carefully dusting shelves, arranging books properly, and maintaining silence and order. The library, being a place of knowledge, was given special attention to ensure it remained tidy and comfortable for study.

Meanwhile, other groups worked on cleaning classrooms. They swept and mopped the floors, cleaned desks and chairs, wiped windows, and ensured proper ventilation. Dustbins were emptied and placed properly to encourage students to dispose of waste responsibly in the future.

The collective effort of students and teachers created a strong sense of unity and cooperation. Everyone worked together regardless of class or background, showing that social work is a shared responsibility. The activity not only improved the physical condition of the college but also instilled discipline and awareness among students.

By the end of the day, the entire campus looked cleaner and more organized. The Social Work Day at Government Khawzawl College was a meaningful and successful event. It reminded everyone that small actions, when done together, can make a big difference in creating a better and healthier environment.

In conclusion, the celebration of Social Work Day helped students understand the value of cleanliness, teamwork, and community service. It encouraged them to continue such practices in their daily lives and contribute positively to society.
