On 30th January 2026, the programme “My Bharat, My Vote”

On 30th January 2026, the programme “My Bharat, My Vote” was observed at Government Khawzawl College by the NSS Units. The event was marked by a rally that began at the college campus and proceeded to Taidawnkawn, Khawzawl, aiming to create awareness about the importance of voting among the public.

At the beginning of the programme, Mr. K. Lalkulhpuia, NSS Programme Officer, delivered an address highlighting the significance of voting. He emphasized that voting is not only a fundamental right of every citizen but also a vital responsibility towards the nation and its democratic system.

Towards the conclusion of the event, Marina Lalhriatpuii, a sixth-semester student, delivered a speech encouraging all citizens who have attained the age of 18 to actively participate in elections and cast their votes, thereby helping to strengthen and uphold the ideals of democracy.
