On Dt. 02.12.2025 (Tuesday @10:30AM) the Department of History, Govt. Khawzawl College officially releases its first book titled, “A Study of Various Localities in Khawzawl Town”.
The programme was chaired by Mr. Joseph Vanlalnghaka, Asst. Professor Dept. of History. And the gathering was welcomed by Madam Lalruatmawii, Principal Govt. Khawzawl College and invocation was done by Rev. Lalbiaksanga Pachuau, Counsellor, FG&CC Khawzawl. After Mr PC. Lalrindika HOD, Dept. Of History gave a brief report about the genesis of the book and introduction on the writers who were students of Govt. Khawzawl College, the book was then preview by Mr. C. Pazawna, Chairman, Khawzawl Joint VC with best alluring and moving speech over the book. Later, It was Er. Liantluanga Chohte, EE, PHED who officially releases the maiden book of History department for the public to read and efforts to everyone. The book was priced ₹250 per copy.
The meeting was graced by leaders of various Village Council in Khawzawl town. There were also representative of various government departments in Khawzawl and students of Class 12 Arts from Khawzawl Hr. Sec. School also took part in the meeting. There were around 100 participants in the gathering. Beautiful voices from students who sings beautiful melody swept the Hall from time to time. The book release function ended with a warm vote of thanks from Mr. H. Vanlalhruaia, Coordinator, IQAC.
