World Population Day

World Population Day In observance of World Population Day 2025 Govt. Khawzawl College organised Orientation Program on 17th July 2025 at Multipurpose Hall. Govt. Khawzawl College under the Chairmanship of Mrs. Lalramlawmi Assistant Professor Gender Sensitization and women empowerment Cell (IQAC). Dr. Shahnaz M. Zothanzami the resource person delivered the negative effect of women by increase in world population. The programme was Chaired by Mrs. Lalramlawmi, Chairman Gender Sensitization and Women Empowerment Cell and featured an insightful address by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr.Shahnaz M. Zothanzami who emphasized the importance of women's health, education and encouraging community participation in addressing population - related issues. The event aimed to promote gender equality, women's rights, and sustainable development, fostering a collective effort towards creating a more equitable future.
