One Day Special Lecture on “Landscapes of Memory: A Retrieval of Mizo Aesthetic Sense of Ecology”

The Department of History Govt. Khawzawl College organizes One Day Special lecture on “Landscapes of Memory: A Retrieval of Mizo Aesthetic Sense of Ecology” on dt.27/03/26 at 1:30pm @Multipurpose Hall, Gkzc.

The Special lecture was delivered by an invited official Dr. Vanlalvenpuia, Asst professor, Dept.of Philosophy, Pachhunga University College, Aizawl. The Resource person reflected the traditional affluence of Mizo hills and Landscapes with the local Mizo people. It is an alarming situation that the growing infrastructure deteriorates the connection between nature and the people. The Resource person added that it is high time that the beauty of aesthetic “Landscapes” be re-awaken at the hearts amongst the students and teachers alike, be it in the form of poetry or affluent literature.

The Resource person was accompanied by Mr. Jeremy Vanlalhmachhuana, MPS currently designated as SDPO, Khawzawl. The congregation ended with a vote of thanks from Joseph Vanlanghaka, Asst. Professor, Dept.of History. The Special Lecture was attended by 80 students.
